We cannot wait for you and your camper to join us this summer! We are more passionate than ever about our calling to serve and invest in our campers, and we are committed to doing everything we can to ensure camp is a safe, fun-filled and wonderful place for them to return to this year.

Arriving & Departing From Camp
All camp sessions at Pioneer Lodge, Sundre are parent/guardian drop-off and pick-up only. In order for us to give campers the best welcome and camp experience possible, please plan to arrive at camp on time.
Arrival & Departure Times
There are two options for Explore Campers to attend this session:
- As a Day Camp Explorer OR
- As an Overnight Explorer
Regular Drop-Off/Pick-Up information is listed below, as well as information for those choosing the overnight option.
Note: Only ONE option can be chosen when selecting this session. A camper is either a Day Explorer or an Overnight Explorer. They cannot be both.
Day Explorers
For those campers who are being dropped-off and picked-up daily, see below times.
- Regular Drop-off is: 8:30 am – 9:00 am each day of camp Tuesdays to Fridays.
- Regular Pick-up is: 4:30 pm – 5:10 pm each day of camp Tuesdays to Fridays.
- Please have your Photo ID ready for pick-up. Campers can only be released to individuals named on the camp registration form or otherwise confirmed with our office.
Overnight Explorer (Explore Camper Choosing Overnight Option)
Note: Times have changed for 2025.
Campers overnight Monday to Thursday and go home Friday afternoon.
- Drop-Off is: 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm Monday afternoon.
- Pick-up is: 4:30 pm – 5:10 pm Friday afternoon.
- Please have your Photo ID ready for pick-up. Campers can only be released to individuals named on the camp registration form or otherwise confirmed with our office.
Please Note:
- Pick-up Late Fee: $5 for every 15 minutes after 5:10 pm.
- Campers will only be released to the custody of a parent or legal guardian unless written authorization signed by the parent or legal guardian to release the camper to another individual has been received.

Saturday Pick-Up Times*
- Pick-up is 10:30 am – 11:30 am***

Discovery Specific Information*
Discovery is a shorter camp session with a different drop-off/pick-up schedule than our other overnight sessions.
- Drop-off is Tuesday: 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- Pick-up is Saturday: 10:30 am – 11:30 am
- Please have your Photo ID ready for pick-up. Campers can only be released to individuals named on the camp registration form or otherwise confirmed with our office.
Lodge Family Camp Specific Information
Friday Arrival Times:
- Arrival Time: 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Supper will be served at 6:00 pm.
Monday Departure Times:
- Departure Time: 10:00 am
Please Note:
- Campers will only be released to the custody of a parent or legal guardian unless written authorization signed by the parent or legal guardian to release the camper to another individual has been received.
- Drive all the way into the camp site to register & unload.
- Loading Zone at main camp area for registration and camper drop-off/pick-up.
Unloading/Loading Zone Time Limit: 15 minutes only.
This is to accommodate camper arrival/departures.
All camp sessions at Pioneer Ranch, Rocky Mountain House are parent/guardian drop-off and pick-up only. In order for us to give campers the best welcome and camp experience possible, please plan to arrive at camp on time.

- Parents are welcome to join us for a barbeque lunch on departure day, with service starting at 12:30 pm. Price per parent/additional guest is a suggested donation of $5 per person.

Horsemanship Clinic Specific Information*
Horsemanship Clinic is a 4-day camp with a different drop-off/pick-up schedule than our other overnight sessions.
*Note: Drop-Off is on a Tuesday. Pick-Up is on a Friday.
- Drop-off is on a Tuesday: 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm*
- Pick-up is on a Friday: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm*

Junior Boys 2 Specific Information*
Jr. Boys is a 5-day camp with a different drop-off/pick-up schedule than our other overnight sessions.
*Note: Drop-Off is on a Tuesday. Pick-Up is on a Saturday.
- Drop-off is on a Tuesday: 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm*
- Pick-up is on a Saturday: 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm*

Ranch Family Camp Specific Information

- Supper will be served at 6:00 pm.

LIT Training Program: All LITs will be doing the first portion of the LIT program together at Pioneer Ranch. LITs should arrive at camp on Sunday, June 30th between 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm.
LIT Placement Week/Practicum & Pick-Up Details:
LIT 1s will do their Practicum at Pioneer Lodge, Sundre. Pick-up will be at Pioneer Lodge, Sundre: Friday, July 12th at 4:00 pm. (Click Here for Directions to Lodge.)
LIT 2s will do their Practicum at Pioneer Ranch, Rocky Mountain House. Pick-up will be at Pioneer Ranch, Rocky Mountain House, Friday, July 12th at 4:00 pm. (Click Here for Directions to Ranch.)
- Drive all the way into the camp site to register & unload.
- Drive past parking lot & barns to reach main camp area for registration and camper drop-off/pick-up.
