Summer Staff & Volunteers
JOIN OUR TEAM THIS SUMMER!
Every year we hire incredible program staff and volunteers that serve and invest in the lives of the hundreds of children and youth who come to Pioneer Camp each year.
We had a great summer in 2023 and are eagerly looking forward to summer camp in 2024!
A Summer Job Like No Other
Working at camp is not like an ordinary summer job. It is an opportunity where you will not only grow yourself, but where you will be investing in the lives of children and youth. While working at camp you will:
-
Grow and mature as a leader
-
Gain diverse work experience
-
Experience a dynamic community of young people
-
Live in creation, overlooking the mountains or a beautiful lakefront
-
Impact the lives of the next generation
Summer Volunteer Opportunities
Age requirements for volunteers depends on the position applied for; the charts below will give some guidelines. Once your application has been processed, it will be passed along to the director of the camp at which you wish to volunteer. This director will inform you if your application is successful or not. In many cases, directors will interview applicants either by phone, Zoom or in person before they are accepted. Anyone applying to volunteer at multiple camps will be contacted for an interview by the Summer Program Coordinator.
Not ready to volunteer yet? We would still love to have you help at Pioneer Camp! Check out our Leadership Camps for more information.
