2. Pray for God to provide the funds needed for your family to attend camp.

Talk to your church about possibly contributing to your child’s camp costs. Many churches provide benefits and financial assistance for families who want to send their children to Christian camps. Chances are your church has seen the huge positive effect camp has had on other children within the church. Let them know that you are trying to come up with creative ways to pay for camp, tell them about your plan to come up with money, and see if they would like to be involved. We often partner our resources with churches to help children come to camp.

Camp offers the benefit of payment plans that help spread out the cost of camp over several months. Payment plan will be calculated at the time of registration. For customized payment plans (on dates different than listed below) please contact our office. All registration fees are to be paid in full by June 1st.

• Spread out the payments! Pay the minimum deposit with the balance owing divided into monthly instalments on the first of every month up to June 1st.
• Register now with minimum deposit, balance post-dated on credit card for June 1st. (If paying by E-transfer or cheque, contact the Office to make installment plan arrangements.)

If you are inviting a friend to camp who has never been before, you may be eligible for a rebate or credit toward your camp fee.

We don’t want to see anyone miss out on the opportunity to experience a week at camp! If you or your child would not be able to attend summer camp without financial assistance, you are welcome to apply to InterVarsity’s Pioneer Camp Alberta Scholarship Fund, a fund into which many generous Pioneer Camp supporters have donated, helping to make the camp experience available to as many as possible.

Because we want to be good stewards of the funds God has entrusted to us through these generous donors, we have put the following Scholarship Fund guidelines in place:

1. All campers are required to pay a $100 deposit to hold their spot.

2. The Scholarship Fund is intended only to cover a portion of the camp fees for a camper.

3. Additional camp option costs (Tuck deposits, transportation fees, etc.) and taxes are not covered by the Scholarship Fund.

4. Campers who have received a scholarship may only attend one camp session per year.

5. All personal information gathered through the Pioneer Camp Alberta Scholarship Fund Application will be governed by Inter-Varsity Fellowship of Canada’s Protection of Privacy Policy. Scholarship Fund applicants can view this policy on our website, https://ivcf.ca/privacy-policy/
